What you'll do

In this role, you will spearhead the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, collaborating with technology leaders to build a best-in-class development engineering and operations team — your responsibilities will include overseeing the operational aspects of the ESC initiative, ensuring that AWS services are delivered with high availability and reliability.

You will work closely with global AWS teams to influence the evolution of AWS services and technology, contributing to the enhancement of operational processes — your insights will help shape the future of AWS offerings in Europe. A typical day will involve analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance service delivery.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the ESC meets the highest standards of availability and performance — your role will require you to monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices in incident management. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, ensuring that EU customers receive the best possible service.
