What you'll do
In this role, you will spearhead the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with various AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout in 2025. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and operations teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services. You will collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on improving availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AWS services, influencing technology decisions that align with customer satisfaction and innovation. Your typical day will involve engaging with cross-functional teams, contributing to operational improvements, and ensuring that the services meet the high standards expected by EU customers.
You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that best practices are followed in all aspects of operations. Your leadership will help build a best-in-class development engineering and operations team that is dedicated to excellence.
