Who you are

You have at least 5 years of experience in trust and safety tooling or content moderation systems — you've designed and built robust platforms that prioritize user safety and compliance with regulations. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Kotlin, C, or C++ allows you to create efficient and scalable systems that enhance user safety.

You possess great communication and teamwork skills — you understand the importance of collaboration in a small, fast-paced team environment. Your demonstrated passion for user safety, human moderation, and operational efficiency drives you to develop innovative solutions that make a real impact.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the User Safety team, you'll design and build highly-scalable trust and safety platforms and tools — your work will include developing data tracking pipelines and creating APIs that integrate with third-party services. You'll enhance data collection and compliance processes, ensuring that safety services maintain zero downtime as the user base grows.

You'll collaborate closely with the User Safety lead to understand product objectives and develop user-friendly platforms that align with operational needs — your creativity will be essential in automating complex decision-making processes and creating intelligent workflows. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and well-being of users on the platform.
