Who you are
You have extensive experience in finance systems architecture, particularly with Workday Financials, and a proven track record of leading technical teams. Your background includes managing complex finance operations and implementing automation strategies that leverage both SaaS solutions and AI technologies. You are skilled in establishing design standards and data governance frameworks, ensuring that finance systems are efficient and scalable.
You possess strong leadership qualities, having built and mentored high-performing teams in previous roles. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Treasury leadership, allows you to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency. You are adept at navigating the intersection of technical architecture and people management, fostering a culture of excellence within your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the technical roadmap for Corporate Accounting, Finance Operations, and Treasury systems, establishing best practices for integration and data governance across Workday Financials. You will lead a team of Systems Engineers and Business Systems Analysts, guiding them in supporting the full operational finance technology stack, including GL, AP, payroll, T&E, and treasury systems. Your strategic vision will directly shape how Anthropic's finance operations scale, ensuring that the systems in place are both reliable and innovative.
You will partner closely with leadership in Accounting, Finance Operations, and Treasury to build a world-class financial systems foundation. This includes pioneering automation strategies that enhance operational efficiency and leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making processes. Your role will involve regular collaboration with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives, ensuring that the finance systems effectively support the organization's growth and mission.
