You have a pragmatic approach to legal challenges and can translate complex legal concepts into actionable frameworks for the business. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and foster a culture of high performance.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to craft clear and comprehensive written guidance and policies. Your ability to identify and mitigate legal risks proactively is a key strength, and you are comfortable developing training programs for managers to enhance their understanding of employment law.

You have a passion for building a positive employee experience and understand the importance of aligning employment practices with organizational values. Your creativity and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate the complexities of employment law in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Experience in a tech or AI-focused company is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique challenges of building a global workforce. You may also have a background in developing employment programs that support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and implement compliant employment programs and practices across several European jurisdictions. You will partner with the People team and managers to address a wide range of employment law issues, including compensation, benefits, privacy, performance management, and leaves of absence. Your expertise will help streamline the global employee experience and create a culture of high performance aligned with Anthropic's values.

You will craft clear and comprehensive written guidance, policies, and communications that effectively translate complex employment law concepts into actionable frameworks. Additionally, you will leverage your experience to proactively identify and mitigate employment legal risks and disputes, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with local laws and regulations.

You will also develop training and manager enablement programs to enhance understanding of employment law within the organization. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that employment practices support the overall mission of Anthropic and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
