Justworks is seeking an Employment Counsel for the EMEA region to develop and implement legal strategies for their EOR product. This role requires a strong background in labor law and excellent communication skills.

You have a labor law background and expertise, thriving in applying that knowledge in practice. You connect and engage with customers and stakeholders to build our legal strategy in markets and ensure ongoing compliance in a complex regulated environment. Your presence fosters reassurance from others, and people know they can depend on you. You are a collaborative team player with superior communication and negotiation skills, great at explaining complex legal topics in clear and concise ways to drive decision-making at the organization.
What you'll do
As part of the Legal team, the Employment Counsel - EMEA will assist and implement the legal strategy for our EOR product in support of various functions in the organization. You will work closely with HR and compliance teams to ensure that all employment practices align with local laws and regulations. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. You will also provide legal advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and grievances, and represent the company in negotiations and disputes.
