Who you are

You have a strong background in industrial automation and controls systems, with experience designing and implementing multi-site controls architecture. Your technical depth allows you to optimize control systems that support high-density AI compute infrastructure, ensuring reliable operations across global datacenter facilities.

You are skilled in defining network topology, redundancy, and high-availability requirements for control nodes and servers. Your familiarity with communication layers such as BACnet, Modbus TCP/IP, and OPC-UA enables you to develop and maintain standardized frameworks that enhance system integration.

You possess a collaborative mindset, allowing you to work effectively across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. Your understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for industrial control systems ensures that you maintain security boundaries while integrating control systems with enterprise networks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize control systems that manage critical datacenter operations, including liquid cooling systems, HVAC, and electrical power monitoring systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of AI at scale, which is crucial for Anthropic's mission.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to define and implement multi-site controls architecture across Anthropic's global datacenter facilities. This involves developing and maintaining standardized frameworks for communication layers, ensuring seamless integration between control systems and enterprise networks.

Your responsibilities will also include defining network topology and high-availability requirements for control nodes and servers, which are essential for maintaining the reliability of AI operations.
