You have 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security, infrastructure, or data pipelines — you've built robust systems that handle security telemetry and understand the intricacies of security operations. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with machine learning concepts enable you to develop innovative solutions that enhance security analytics. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with security and infrastructure teams to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions. Your experience includes architecting scalable data pipelines that process large volumes of security-relevant data, ensuring efficient data ingestion and querying. You are also comfortable mentoring engineers and contributing to the growth of your team, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a culture of learning and development.

Desirable

Experience with AI-powered platforms and familiarity with incident response processes are a plus. You may also have a background in developing proof-of-concepts for new security tooling and analytics capabilities, showcasing your ability to innovate and adapt to new challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll architect and implement data pipelines that process massive amounts of security telemetry, ensuring that the infrastructure can scale with the growing demands of the organization. You'll be responsible for building an AI-powered platform that encompasses all aspects of detection and response capabilities, from detection development to incident response. Your work will involve designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for ingesting and processing security telemetry across Anthropic's rapidly growing infrastructure. You'll create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new security tooling and analytics capabilities, collaborating closely with security and infrastructure teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Additionally, you'll participate in on-call rotations, ensuring that the security operations remain robust and responsive to incidents.
