Overview

Appian is seeking a Field Marketing Manager for the Public Sector to develop and execute integrated marketing plans. This role requires experience in Public Sector marketing and an understanding of the technology ecosystem.

Who you are

You have a strong background in field marketing, particularly within the Public Sector, and understand the nuances of marketing to Defense, Federal Civilian, and State and Local Government entities. Your experience includes developing and executing integrated marketing plans that drive sales pipeline and revenue growth. You are familiar with business process automation and low-code application development, which are critical in the technology ecosystem where Appian operates. You are a creative thinker who can balance multiple partners and stakeholders while managing end-to-end field event strategies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to achieving high standards of excellence in your work.

Desirable

Experience with sales enablement and a proven track record of managing successful marketing programs in the Public Sector will set you apart. Familiarity with the technology landscape and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions are also highly valued. You are passionate about marketing and are eager to contribute to a team that values intensity and excellence.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated marketing plans tailored to the Public Sector. You will execute field marketing programs and events that are designed to enhance Appian's visibility and drive sales opportunities. Your responsibilities will include operational implementation, post-program reporting, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Field Marketing Manager and other team members to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies. You will also engage with partners and stakeholders to create impactful marketing experiences that resonate with the Public Sector audience.
