Overview

Appian is seeking a Learning Business Partner to oversee corporate talent development programs. You'll collaborate with leaders to assess learning needs and facilitate impactful learning sessions. This role requires exceptional organizational and facilitation skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in learning and development, with experience in facilitating engaging learning sessions both in person and virtually. Your exceptional organizational skills enable you to manage multiple initiatives effectively, ensuring that learning programs are delivered with high quality and impact. You are a collaborative partner, working closely with leaders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and translate them into measurable programs that drive performance. You possess a keen understanding of adult learning principles and are adept at creating engaging learning experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Desirable

Experience in corporate talent development or leadership training is a plus. Familiarity with various learning technologies and methodologies will enhance your ability to design and deliver effective programs. You are comfortable with both small group and individual coaching engagements, tailoring your approach to meet the unique development opportunities of individuals or teams.

What you'll do

As the Learning Business Partner at Appian, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of learning initiatives within the Corporate Talent Development Programs. This includes leading key leadership development programs, core business skills training, and corporate orientation sessions. You will collaborate with leaders to assess their teams' learning needs, ensuring that the programs you develop are aligned with business objectives and drive individual and organizational performance. You will facilitate impactful learning sessions, creating engaging experiences that learners can translate into immediate action. Additionally, you will conduct small group or individual coaching engagements, diagnosing development opportunities and creating individualized plans to address them. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, continuously seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness of the programs you oversee.
