Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly in building and maintaining data-driven applications. Your expertise in Python allows you to design and develop RESTful APIs that are efficient and scalable. You are familiar with data warehousing solutions and have hands-on experience with technologies like ClickHouse, Trino/Presto, and Pinot.
You possess a strong understanding of data pipeline design and have utilized tools such as Apache Airflow and Apache Spark to streamline data operations. Your experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP enables you to leverage their capabilities for optimizing data workflows. You are also knowledgeable in container orchestration using Kubernetes, which facilitates efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop automation tools that enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to implement monitoring and alerting systems ensures optimal performance and stability of the systems you manage. You are committed to addressing client queries effectively, contributing to high client satisfaction.
Desirable
Experience with ClickHouse is a significant advantage, and contributing to open-source projects is a plus. Familiarity with Scala or Java, as well as big data systems like Hadoop, Hive, and Flink, will further enhance your profile.
