Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in analog layout automation. Your expertise lies in designing analog and mixed-signal layouts, particularly in deep-submicron CMOS and FinFET technologies. You possess strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as SKILL, Perl, TCL, Shell, and Python, with a focus on layout automation and productivity tooling. Your solid understanding of supervised and self-supervised learning, along with convolutional neural networks, enables you to apply AI/ML techniques effectively in your work.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to convert design concepts into silicon. Your ability to analyze circuits, run verification suites, and resolve LVS/DRC/ERC issues is crucial in delivering high-performance SOCs. You are passionate about driving automation and improving workflows, utilizing your skills to develop scripts that enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.

What you'll do

As an Analog Layout Automation Engineer at Apple, you will be at the forefront of shaping the next generation of SOCs. You will collaborate with circuit designers to create high-performance analog and mixed-signal layouts using advanced CAD tools, including AI-powered solutions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing floor plans, analyzing circuits, and running verification suites to ensure the integrity of designs. You will also focus on resolving LVS/DRC/ERC issues to deliver next-generation SOCs that power iconic Apple devices.
