Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in designing analog and mixed-signal layouts in deep-submicron CMOS and FinFET technologies. Your strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as SKILL, Perl, TCL, Shell, and Python emphasize layout automation and productivity tooling. You possess a solid understanding of supervised and self-supervised learning, convolutional neural networks, and their applications in design automation.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to convert design concepts into silicon. Your ability to analyze circuits, run verification suites, and resolve LVS/DRC/ERC issues is complemented by your passion for driving automation through innovative solutions. You are committed to improving workflows and applying AI/ML techniques to enhance design efficiency and quality metrics.

Desirable

Experience with advanced CAD tools and a background in automation within the semiconductor industry would be a plus. Familiarity with AI-powered design methodologies and a keen interest in the latest technologies in analog and mixed-signal circuit design will set you apart.

What you'll do

As an Analog Layout Automation Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of SOCs that power iconic devices. You will collaborate with circuit designers to create high-performance analog and mixed-signal layouts, ensuring that design concepts are effectively translated into silicon.
