Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in analog layout engineering. Your strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals, including electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, LDEs, and ESD, sets you apart. You are proficient in Unix and CAD environments, and you can interpret and debug Calibre results effectively. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
You have experience mentoring junior layout engineers and driving consensus within your team. Your background includes working with both planar and FinFET nodes, and you possess scripting capabilities to enhance efficiency in your work. You thrive in an environment that values creativity and innovation, and you are eager to contribute to a team that cultivates engineering excellence.
What you'll do
As an Analog Layout Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for delivering layouts independently, starting from initial floor planning to fully verified, post-extracted layouts, ensuring compliance with DRC, ERC, and LVS standards. You will conduct reviews for floor planning and final layout, collaborating closely with circuit designers and other layout engineers to ensure the highest quality of work. Your role will involve working on a variety of designs across different technologies, contributing to the development of best-in-class custom analog designs.
You will participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges, providing insights based on your expertise. Your ability to communicate effectively will help facilitate discussions and drive project success. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will play a crucial role in achieving team goals and advancing Apple's innovative technologies.
