Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in ASIC power engineering, with a strong understanding of low-power design principles and power modeling techniques. Your expertise includes using power tools such as PTPX and Power Artist, and you are proficient in scripting languages like Shell, Perl, or Python. You possess a solid grasp of ASIC logic design and common SoC components, including CPU, fabric, peripherals, and PCIe. Your strong problem-solving and analytical skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in power modeling and correlation.
Desirable
You have pre-silicon power estimation and modeling experience, along with actual low-power design experience. Familiarity with wireless technologies such as WIFI, BT, and UWB is a plus. You also have knowledge of ASIC physical design and static timing analysis, as well as system architecture experience. Your background includes post-silicon functional debug and power correlation, which enhances your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the forefront of low-power architecture and power modeling efforts, playing a critical role in ensuring that functional products reach hundreds of millions of customers quickly. You will work closely with a world-class vertically integrated engineering team to analyze and correlate power data for wireless communication SoCs. Your responsibilities will include conducting power modeling and analysis tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions, and contributing to the overall success of the wireless silicon development team.
