Job Description
Who you are
You have over 10 years of experience in ASIC power engineering, with a strong background in low-power design and power modeling. Your expertise in ASIC logic design and familiarity with power tools like PTPX and Power Artist make you a valuable addition to our team. You possess proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python, which enhances your ability to automate tasks and streamline processes. Your analytical skills enable you to tackle complex problems effectively, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of energy efficiency.
You understand the intricacies of wireless communication SoCs and have a solid grasp of common SOC components, including CPUs, fabrics, peripherals, and PCIe. Your knowledge extends to pre-silicon power estimation and modeling, as well as post-silicon functional debug and power correlation. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Desirable
Experience with wireless technologies such as WIFI, Bluetooth, and UWB is a plus, as is familiarity with ASIC physical design and static timing analysis (STA). Your system architecture experience allows you to contribute to the overall design and functionality of our products, ensuring they meet user needs and performance expectations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the forefront of low-power architecture and power modeling efforts, playing a critical role in the development of wireless silicon. You will conduct power analysis and correlation tasks that directly impact the efficiency and performance of our products, which are used by millions of customers worldwide. Your work will involve collaborating with vertically integrated engineering teams to ensure that our designs are not only functional but also optimized for energy efficiency.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing power modeling techniques that accurately predict power consumption in various scenarios. This includes working on pre-silicon power estimation and modeling, as well as post-silicon validation to ensure that our products meet power efficiency targets. Your insights will guide design decisions and help shape the future of our wireless technologies.
