Who you are
You have a strong background in CAD engineering, with experience in physical design verification flows and methodologies. You understand the importance of detail and have a passion for building elegant solutions to complex challenges. Your expertise includes developing and maintaining rule decks for design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) runsets. You are familiar with machine learning and automation solutions, which you can leverage to enhance verification processes.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with custom digital, analog, and mixed-signal design teams. Your ability to coordinate efforts and validate flows ensures that the chip design process runs smoothly. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which allows you to tackle challenges effectively.
What you'll do
As a CAD Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and improving physical design verification flows. You will coordinate with design and physical design teams to facilitate the chip design process, ensuring that all aspects of the design meet high-performance and power-efficient standards. Your role will involve coding custom PDV rule decks and enhancing existing ones to improve verification accuracy.
