Who you are

You have a strong background in CAD engineering, with experience in physical design verification flows and methodologies. You understand the importance of detail in complex designs and are passionate about building elegant solutions to intricate challenges. Your experience includes developing and maintaining rule decks for design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) runsets, ensuring high-quality outputs in chip design.

You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including custom digital, analog, and mixed-signal design groups. Your technical skills include coding custom PDV rule decks and familiarity with PnR tools, which enhances your ability to facilitate the chip design process. You are also open to exploring machine learning and automation solutions to improve workflows.

What you'll do

As a CAD Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining physical design verification flows. You will coordinate efforts to validate these flows, improving them for custom checks and data generation.
