Who you are
You have over 6 years of experience in SOX, internal controls, IT audit, or external audit — you've developed a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and the importance of maintaining an audit-ready environment. Your expertise in core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HCM enables you to effectively support SOX testing protocols and methodologies.

You thrive in cross-functional environments — collaborating with finance, IT, and external auditors is second nature to you. You are adept at coordinating testing and remediation activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.
Your experience with SOX automation and tooling enhances your ability to improve efficiency and provide data-driven insights in testing. You are passionate about maintaining standardized testing methodologies and quality control practices, which are essential for the success of the SOX program.
Desirable
A certification in internal controls or auditing would be a plus, as it demonstrates your commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards. Your proactive approach to learning and adapting to new compliance requirements sets you apart as a candidate.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of SOX testing, including conducting walkthroughs, developing test scripts, and evaluating evidence. You will document conclusions and ensure that testing is completed in a timely and consistent manner. Your leadership will guide the testing teams to deliver high-quality results that meet compliance standards.
You will coordinate closely with external audit and co-sourced partner counterparts to facilitate testing and remediation activities. Your ability to maintain clear communication and set expectations will be crucial in ensuring that all parties are aligned and that control performance meets audit standards.
You will excite and maintain standardized testing methodologies, documentation protocols, and quality control practices. By engaging with control owners, you will support their expectations and ensure that control performance is complete and compliant.
Your role will also involve supporting the integration of SOX automation and tooling, which will improve the efficiency of the testing process and provide valuable data-driven insights. You will be instrumental in enhancing the overall effectiveness of the SOX program management office.
