Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience in SOX, internal controls, IT audit, internal audit, or external audit — you understand the importance of maintaining a robust control environment and ensuring compliance with audit standards. Your strong understanding of core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, and SD allows you to effectively contribute to the SOX control testing program. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage with control owners and external auditors seamlessly.

You are detail-oriented and committed to operational excellence — you thrive in environments where you can implement standardized testing methodologies and quality control practices. Your experience coordinating testing and remediation activities with external audit partners has equipped you with the skills to ensure high-quality, timely, and consistent delivery of testing protocols. You are proactive in supporting the integration of SOX automation and tooling to improve efficiency and data-driven insights in testing.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of SOX testing, including conducting walkthroughs, developing test scripts, evaluating evidence, and documenting conclusions. You will coordinate with testing teams to ensure that control performance is complete, inspectable, and compliant with audit standards. Your responsibilities will include engaging with control owners to set expectations and support the execution engine of the SOX control testing program.

You will work closely with finance, IT, and external auditors to maintain an audit-ready environment. Your role will involve exciting opportunities to standardize testing methodologies and documentation protocols, ensuring that the SOX program remains aligned with risk management practices. You will also support the integration of automation tools to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
