Compliance Manager • Mid-Level

Who you are

You hold a BS degree and have working experience with various wireless communication systems such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, and Bluetooth. You are familiar with the corresponding system level specifications, including ETSI 51.010 and 51.05, and have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and the certification process for wireless consumer devices. Your excellent communication skills enable you to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory compliance teams.

You have a strong background in validating RF Exposure test cases and translating worldwide regulatory requirements into actionable test cases. Your experience includes defining and executing validation plans for RF Exposure facing software features, and you are adept at debugging marginal or failure tests in collaboration with teams like RF Hardware, Antenna, Product Design, and Electrical Engineering. You are proactive in driving design changes to address issues that arise during testing.

What you'll do

In this role, you will validate RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups. You will be responsible for maintaining test setups through periodic checks and calibration, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards. You will help regulatory compliance teams in planning and executing final certification testing at third-party test labs, ensuring that Apple’s wireless products meet all required certifications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to debug tests and drive design changes, ensuring that all products comply with regulatory standards. Your role will involve translating complex regulatory requirements into clear test cases, which will be critical for the successful certification of Apple’s wireless technologies. You will also play a key role in shaping upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers.
