Job Description
Who you are
You have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of RF exposure and compliance testing. You enjoy tackling complex challenges and have experience working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product validation meets regulatory requirements. Your analytical skills allow you to perform detailed marginality analysis and debug issues effectively. You are comfortable traveling to in-region CM/Factory locations to support product development and validation activities.
You have a strong grasp of regulatory compliance standards and can translate these into actionable test cases. Your experience includes validating RF exposure test cases across various wireless technologies, ensuring that all certification tests are covered. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for maintaining test setups through periodic checks and calibration, ensuring accuracy in testing environments.
What you'll do
As a Wireless RF Compliance Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping upcoming Apple products by characterizing RF exposure across different wireless technologies. You will work closely with in-region CM/Factory counterparts to plan and execute product development and validation activities. Your responsibilities will include debugging issues and bringing up test setups, as well as performing marginality analysis to understand device-to-device variation.
You will validate RF exposure test cases for different regulatory domains, coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of all certification tests. Additionally, you will define and execute validation plans for RF exposure facing software features, collaborating with cross-functional teams like RFHW, Antenna, Product Design, and Electrical Engineering to drive design changes that address any issues.
