Compliance Manager • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in wireless communication systems. Your background includes working with GSM, UMTS, LTE, and Bluetooth technologies, and you are familiar with the corresponding system level specifications such as ETSI 51.010 and 51.05. You possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the certification process for wireless consumer devices, which enables you to effectively translate these requirements into actionable test cases.

You are skilled in validating RF Exposure test cases across different regulatory domains and have experience coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure thorough product validation. Your ability to define and execute validation plans for RF Exposure facing software features is complemented by your debugging skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams like RFHW, Antenna, Product Design, and Electrical Engineering to address design issues.

Your attention to detail ensures that test setups are maintained through periodic checks and calibration, and you are proactive in assisting regulatory compliance teams during final certification testing at third-party labs. What you'll do

In this role, you will validate RF Exposure test cases for various wireless technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will translate worldwide regulatory requirements into specific test cases and coordinate with compliance teams to ensure that all necessary certification tests are covered. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing validation plans for RF Exposure facing software features, as well as debugging marginal or failure tests in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will maintain test setups through regular checks and calibration, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. Additionally, you will assist regulatory compliance teams in planning and executing final certification testing at third-party labs, contributing to the successful launch of Apple’s wireless products. Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and regulatory changes, allowing you to stay at the forefront of the industry.
