Who you are

You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience in CPU design verification. Your background includes experience in digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture, which equips you to understand the intricacies of CPU functionality. You are proficient in developing complex tests in assembly and C, and you have a solid grasp of verification methodologies. Your analytical skills allow you to develop coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure comprehensive test case coverage. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture and RTL designers to ensure the correctness of designs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the verification of specific areas of functionality in CPU designs, which is critical for delivering high-quality products to millions of customers. You will develop and lead test plans and test environments, ensuring that all aspects of the design are thoroughly tested. Your responsibilities will include creating complex tests based on the test plans, as well as developing checkers or C-based transactors to verify the design. You will analyze coverage metrics to identify gaps in testing and work to address them, ensuring that the final product meets Apple's high standards for quality and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the overall success of the chip design effort.
