You have at least 3 years of experience working with industrial paints and coatings in a professional environment — your keen eye for detail allows you to accurately mix, match, and qualify various industrial-grade paints. Your exemplary work ethic means that no task is too small for you, and you take pride in your meticulous approach to your work.

Your background in color science and metrology is a strong plus, giving you an edge in understanding the nuances of color variations. You are self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative environment, lending your expertise to both internal teams and external vendors. You understand the importance of preparation and application, ensuring that surfaces are ready for paint application and that the final results meet the highest standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the industrial-grade paint and finishes aspect of our model shop. You will prepare a variety of surfaces for paint application, ensuring that each surface is primed and ready for the best possible finish. Your expertise will be crucial in applying paint and coatings to models and various surfaces using industrial tools, and you will assist the paint specialist in all aspects of paint and color library management.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to provide insights and recommendations on paint and finish choices, helping to elevate the quality of our design outputs. Your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our color library, ensuring that all colors are accurately represented and easily accessible for future projects. You will also be involved in training and mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a culture of excellence within the studio.
