Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in computer architecture, particularly in graphics, and a solid foundation in verification methodology — your expertise allows you to close testing coverage with high confidence. You are fluent in English and can communicate complex ideas effectively within a team environment.
Your experience includes using SystemVerilog, UVM, and C++ with industry-leading simulation tools — you understand how to develop verification plans in coordination with design leads and architects. You are adept at creating and maintaining verification test bench components and environments, ensuring seamless verification flow.
You have a keen eye for detail and can generate directed and directed random tests — running simulations and debugging design and environment issues is second nature to you. You are also skilled in building functional coverage points and analyzing coverage to improve test environments.
What you'll do
As a Design Verification Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for the pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low power embedded graphics cores — your role will involve deep understanding of the micro-architectural details of your block and how it integrates within the broader GPU design. You will collaborate with other block and core level engineers to ensure a seamless verification flow, contributing to the overall success of the GPU design team.
You will develop verification plans that align with the project goals and work closely with design leads and architects to ensure comprehensive coverage. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining verification test bench components, generating tests, and running simulations to identify and resolve issues.
You will also build automated verification flows for block verification, ensuring that the verification process is efficient and effective. Your contributions will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality GPU designs that meet Apple's standards for performance and reliability.
What we offer
At Apple, you will be part of a rapidly growing team at our UK GPU design centre — you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to products that impact millions of users worldwide. We foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
You will have access to industry-leading tools and methodologies, allowing you to enhance your skills and grow your career in a supportive environment. Apple is committed to your professional development and offers opportunities for advancement within the company.
