Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor design, particularly in DFT solutions. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to complex design projects. You understand the importance of every aspect of the design process and are committed to delivering high-quality results. Your experience spans all aspects of DFT architecture, infrastructure, and implementation, making you a valuable asset to any team.
You have a strong background in working with design verification teams to ensure that DFT implementations meet rigorous standards. Your ability to generate structural test vectors and analyze coverage is complemented by your experience in collaborating with designers on various issues, including static timing analysis and power considerations. You are adept at working with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon, ensuring that the final product meets all specifications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing DFT architecture for Apple's next-generation processors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design verification, to verify DFT implementations and implement engineering change orders (ECOs). Your responsibilities will include generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage to improve the overall quality of the design. You will also collaborate with designers to address static timing analysis, physical design, power, and logical issues, ensuring that all aspects of the design are optimized for performance and efficiency.
You will play a critical role in running schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts, contributing to the timely delivery of functional products to millions of customers. Your expertise will help shape the technology that fuels Apple's devices, making a significant impact on the user experience.
