Who you are
You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, eager to start your career in semiconductor design. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology, particularly in the area of system-on-chip (SoC) design. You understand the importance of collaboration and are excited to work with various teams to bring innovative solutions to life. You are ready to tackle complex challenges and contribute to the development of high-performance processors that power Apple devices.
You possess a foundational understanding of design for test (DFT) principles and are eager to learn more about DFT architecture and infrastructure. You are comfortable working with design verification teams and are keen to gain experience in generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage. You are motivated to improve your skills in semiconductor design and are open to feedback and mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you'll do
As a SoC DFT Engineer at Apple, you will be involved in the complete DFT solution for various design projects. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing DFT architecture, as well as working closely with the design verification team to verify DFT implementations. You will generate structural test vectors and analyze coverage to ensure the highest quality in our semiconductor designs. You will collaborate with designers on various issues, including static timing analysis, physical design, and power management, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
You will also work with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon, supporting multi-functional engineering efforts and running schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
