Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Your expertise lies in leading chip architecture and digital design, particularly in touch or communications technologies. You possess a strong electrical engineering background in embedded product development, enabling you to create innovative solutions that meet high user experience standards.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally to identify critical design aspects. Your ability to analyze applications and optimize designs for cost and power efficiency is a key strength. You are passionate about developing high-volume IC designs and have a track record of launching successful products.

What you'll do

As a Digital Architect at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting Touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them. You will take high-level user requirements and translate them into realizable systems that meet these goals. This includes high-level modeling of proposed solutions and creating detailed specifications of the requirements. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the design interacts seamlessly with the overall product architecture.

Your role will involve analyzing application needs and developing optimized digital designs for touch and other sensing ASICs. You will collaborate with engineers to foster a hands-on environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience of Apple products, making them more intuitive and responsive.
