Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience — your expertise lies in chip architecture and digital design, particularly in touch or communications technologies. You possess a strong electrical engineering background in embedded product development, enabling you to create innovative solutions that meet high user experience standards.

You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-volume IC designs. Your ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into realizable systems is a key strength, allowing you to optimize designs for cost and power efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Digital Architect at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting Touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them. You will take high-level user requirements and create detailed specifications that align with Apple's vision for multi-touch user experiences. Your role will involve high-level modeling of proposed solutions, ensuring that they meet the critical aspects of design interaction with overall products.

You will collaborate closely with various teams to identify and address the essential elements of how your designs will integrate into Apple's product ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative Touch Technologies that are central to products like the iPhone, iPad, and MacBooks.
