You have a strong foundation in electrical engineering with demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development. Your expertise in analog fundamentals is complemented by your ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about developing sensing systems and have experience in creating engineering design, requirement, and specification documents.
You are proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters, and you understand the intricacies of signal integrity. Your collaborative nature makes you a great teammate, and you thrive in environments where innovation is encouraged. You have a proven track record of taking electrical designs into mass production, showcasing your ability to navigate the complexities of product development.
What you'll do
As a key member of the Sensing Systems team, you will design, develop, and launch the next generation of Touch ID sensors. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire sensor development lifecycle, from schematic capture and module design to validation and integration across the supply chain. You will define technical strategies and drive innovation in the development of groundbreaking fingerprint biometric sensors.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the sensors meet the high standards of security and user experience that Apple is known for. Your role will involve validating designs through rigorous testing and analysis, ensuring that the sensors perform reliably in real-world applications. You will also be responsible for documenting your designs and processes, contributing to the overall knowledge base of the team.
