Desirable

Experience with fingerprint biometric sensors or similar technologies would be a plus. Familiarity with mass production processes and lifecycle management in sensor development is also desirable.

What you'll do

As the TouchID Electrical Engineering Manager, you will lead the Sensing Systems team in designing, developing, and launching the next generation of Touch ID sensors. You will engage in the entire sensor development lifecycle, from concept to mass production, ensuring that the sensors meet Apple's high standards for security and user experience. Your role will involve applying your expertise in analog and digital circuits to design sensing modules, while also evaluating coexistence and electrical performance. You will tackle challenges that impact billions of daily authentications, making decisions that require precision and foresight. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence design decisions and ensure that the integration of your team's work aligns with Apple's product vision.
