Job Description
Who you are
You have a foundational understanding of computer architecture and are eager to dive into the world of GPU performance analysis. Your experience with C, C++, and Python equips you with the skills necessary to develop performance test plans and analyze complex performance issues. You are detail-oriented and enjoy crafting elegant solutions to intricate challenges, making you a perfect fit for our Silicon Technologies group. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, and while experience in GPU architecture is a plus, it is not mandatory.
What you'll do
As a GPU Performance Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for developing performance test plans that validate GPU performance. You will analyze performance issues to identify both hardware and software problems, proposing innovative hardware solutions to enhance GPU performance. Your role will also involve developing tools that facilitate efficient measurement and communication of GPU performance improvements. You will validate the functionality and quantify the performance benefits of features and algorithms implemented in both hardware and software, ensuring that Apple products can seamlessly handle the tasks that users love.
