You are passionate about pushing the boundaries of physical synthesis — your work directly impacts the performance of Apple's cutting-edge processors. You thrive in collaborative settings, partnering closely with design teams to define optimal methodologies and flows.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll own the synthesis challenges that matter most to Apple Silicon — your contributions will directly translate to faster, more efficient Apple devices. You'll develop and improve the implementation flow from RTL through GDS signoff, ensuring that the synthesis techniques you create lead to breakthrough performance and power efficiency.
You will be responsible for developing innovative scripts and automation to enhance physical synthesis techniques — your expertise will help define what works best for specific design challenges. You will also run full validation flows from RTL through place-and-route and timing signoff to demonstrate actual PPA improvements.
Your role will involve working directly with EDA vendors to shape tool roadmaps and build custom solutions for problems that push beyond industry standards — your work will ship in millions of devices, making a significant impact on Apple's product lineup.
