Apple is hiring a Battery Management IC Engineer to support the development of Battery Management ICs for their products. Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in the design and development of integrated circuits. Your experience includes working with Battery Management systems and defining circuit-level specifications. You are skilled in using tools like Altium Designer and have a solid understanding of embedded Linux systems. Your proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ allows you to model and simulate circuit behavior effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your interpersonal skills enable you to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in your work, ensuring that all designs meet rigorous performance criteria.

Desirable

Experience with battery technologies and their integration into consumer electronics is a plus. Familiarity with testing and validation processes for embedded systems will enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the requirements for Battery Management ICs and collaborating with vendors to implement these specifications. You will work closely with the battery team to model the behavior of Battery Management systems and conduct bench tests to validate designs. Your responsibilities will also include debugging and characterizing embedded on-chip circuits, such as ADCs, LDOs, clocks, bandgaps, and bias networks.

You will support in-system measurements to correlate with simulation results, ensuring that the designs perform as expected in real-world applications. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the development of innovative battery solutions that enhance the performance of Apple's products.
