You have a strong background in CPU design verification, with experience in logic equivalence checking and a solid understanding of gate-level verification processes. Your expertise in scripting languages, particularly Python, allows you to automate verification runs effectively. You are familiar with working in a collaborative environment, supporting design teams in block-level verification runs and debugging processes. Your knowledge of low power checks and structural gate checks is essential for ensuring the highest standards of functional verification. You thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, where communication and collaboration with design and CAD teams are key to success.

What you'll do
In this role, you will own the logic equivalence check and sign-off for Apple's high-performance CPU projects. You will develop and improve existing flows for logical equivalence checks, ensuring that all CPU designs meet rigorous verification standards. Your responsibilities will include running and signing off on block and top-level logic equivalence checks, as well as conducting structural gate checks and low power checks. You will support the design team by participating in block-level verification runs and debugging issues as they arise. Collaborating closely with design and CAD teams, you will help establish methodologies for verifying new features and create scripts to automate verification runs, tracking the results of various checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
