Who you are
You are an experienced attorney with 4-8 years of expertise in insurance regulatory and compliance law β you possess a deep understanding of the legal landscape and have a proven track record of managing compliance obligations effectively. Your strong academic credentials and law degree (JD or equivalent) from an accredited institution set you apart in the field. You thrive in environments that challenge you to apply your legal knowledge creatively, especially in areas that are often unexplored.
You have a passion for innovation and a commitment to upholding high ethical standards β your ability to navigate complex legal frameworks and provide sound legal advice is essential in supporting Apple's mission to keep user data secure. You are detail-oriented and proactive, ensuring that compliance programs are not only designed but also implemented and maintained effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Appleβs insurance intermediary compliance obligations in the UK and across the EU β you will design, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures that meet regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with various teams within Apple, providing legal support and guidance to ensure that all operations align with legal standards. Your role will involve monitoring changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, advising on their implications, and ensuring that the company adapts accordingly.
You will report to the Senior Corporate Insurance Attorney within Appleβs Corporate & Compliance Legal Department, contributing to a culture of compliance and ethical business practices. Your expertise will be crucial in helping Apple navigate the complexities of insurance regulation, ensuring that the company remains compliant while pursuing its innovative goals.
