What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for addressing the legal issues surrounding Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with a dynamic range of global regulations, advising on regulatory changes that support and protect users. You will collaborate with public policy, safety, security, and privacy experts to define transportation policy for the future of autonomous driving. Your role will involve developing and protecting Waymo's intellectual property portfolio, as well as driving corporate and commercial transactions. You will also be involved in anticipating, mitigating, and litigating high-profile legal matters that set precedents in the industry. Your contributions will help shape the legal framework that supports Waymo's mission to improve mobility and safety through technology.

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of £150,000—£162,000 GBP, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan.
