Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, and you bring over 8 years of relevant industry experience in hardware architecture. Your expertise in systems-level thinking allows you to tackle complex infrastructure challenges effectively.
You excel in coordinating with cross-functional teams, including electrical validation, software engineering, and hardware test teams, to aggregate validation results and verify design assumptions. Your strong communication skills enable you to drive technical innovation through data-driven analysis and executive-level communication.
What you'll do
As the Network Cluster Architect, you will own and advance critical investigations spanning cluster-level network topology, hall-level power distribution, rack-level electrical systems, and server hardware electronics design. You will be responsible for designing and deploying Apple's next-generation compute infrastructure at scale, focusing on high-performance, energy-efficient solutions that power Apple's services and AI/ML workloads.
You will collaborate closely with mechanical engineering, power systems, software and firmware teams, silicon design, hardware validation, and reliability engineering to ensure the successful delivery of projects from early design conception through mass production. Your role will involve thinking holistically about infrastructure challenges, driving technical innovation, and ensuring that all components work seamlessly together.
