You have extensive experience in systems and chip test development, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering. Your expertise includes working with computer-controlled systems and networks, and you are familiar with manufacturing environments, ideally overseas. You possess strong troubleshooting skills, enabling you to analyze issues effectively and contribute to innovative solutions. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the conception and design of a new class of testers for Appleβs next-generation processors. You will define customized test hardware for chipsets, ensuring that Apple products can efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Your operational activities will involve detailed coordination across various teams and suppliers, primarily in Asia, to ensure the availability and quality of required hardware.
You will apply your expertise in complex development projects, driving the design and implementation of testing solutions that meet rigorous performance standards. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and analyzing issues that arise during the testing process, actively contributing to the development of effective solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that the technology you help build meets the high standards expected of Apple products.
