Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in systems and chip test development, with experience in mechanical and electrical engineering β you understand the intricacies of designing customized test hardware for chipsets and have a keen eye for detail. Your expertise in coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams and external suppliers is essential for ensuring the availability and quality of hardware in manufacturing environments, particularly overseas.
You thrive in complex development projects and are adept at troubleshooting and analyzing issues β your problem-solving skills enable you to contribute effectively to the success of your team. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders and drive projects forward.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the conception and design of a new class of testers for Appleβs next-generation processors. You will work closely with the Silicon Technologies group to ensure that Apple products can efficiently handle the tasks that users love. Your operational activities will involve detailed coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and external suppliers to ensure that the required hardware is available and meets quality standards.
You will apply your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled systems to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and analyzing issues that arise during the development process, actively contributing to the solutions that enhance the performance of Appleβs devices.
