You have extensive experience in systems and chip test development, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering. Your attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the design and manufacturing process is meticulously crafted to meet high-performance standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to drive projects from conception to execution.
You possess a deep understanding of complex development projects involving computer-controlled systems and networks. Your ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues allows you to contribute effectively to problem-solving efforts. You have experience working with suppliers and are familiar with manufacturing environments, ideally overseas, which enhances your capability to manage operational activities effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the conception and design of a new class of testers for Appleβs chipsets. This involves defining customized test hardware and ensuring its availability and quality at partner factories, primarily located in Asia. You will coordinate closely with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all hardware meets the required specifications and quality standards.
Your role will also include troubleshooting and analyzing issues that arise during the development process, actively contributing to solutions that enhance product performance. You will leverage your expertise in systems engineering to ensure that Appleβs products can efficiently handle the tasks that users love. Your contributions will be vital in crafting the technology that fuels Appleβs devices, ensuring they remain beloved by millions.
