Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in test engineering, particularly in the semiconductor industry. Your strong programming skills enable you to write and debug test programs effectively, and you have hands-on experience with test-related hardware development, particularly with platforms like Teradyne UFlex/J750/ip750 and Advantest 93k. You pay meticulous attention to detail and thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.
You are proficient in scripting languages, especially Perl, which you use to enhance test automation processes. Your experience includes evaluating new products for testability and operability, ensuring that quality and efficiency are prioritized in mass production. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are comfortable coordinating test-related activities with both internal and external groups.
What you'll do
As a SoC Test Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for developing and documenting comprehensive test plans for new devices. You will design and debug both software and hardware for testing, ensuring that new silicon meets quality standards. Your role will involve crafting and debugging ATE programs to facilitate the characterization, qualification, and production of SoC devices.
