Job Description

Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in precision assembly, inspection, and automation equipment design and qualification — you've been involved in innovating processes that enhance efficiency and yield in manufacturing environments. Your background includes a strong understanding of tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies, which is crucial for the role. You are knowledgeable in crafting machine qualification requirements and have experience with design of experiments and failure analysis. Your familiarity with Six Sigma principles allows you to drive continuous improvement initiatives effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for innovating precision assembly and measurement processes that directly impact the design, cost, and quality of new opto-electronics modules. You will be a key stakeholder in design-for-manufacturing and process development, ensuring that assembly tolerance analysis is conducted thoroughly. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in equipment yield, efficiency, and speed. You will also be expected to travel approximately 30-35% of the time to support various projects and initiatives.
