You possess a deep understanding of patent terms and foreign filing practices, which allows you to navigate the intricacies of patent law with ease. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining accurate patent databases and providing comprehensive reports to support the patent team. Your experience working cross-functionally within legal teams has honed your ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including outside counsel.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide essential legal support for Apple's patent prosecution processes, working closely with both internal patent counsel and outside counsel. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate patent databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. Your role will involve managing project timelines and deadlines, particularly concerning patent annuities and foreign filings. You will oversee the administration of outside counsel support, ensuring that all legal processes are executed smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide backup support for other members of the Patent Services and Operations team, contributing to the overall success of the department. Your work will include documenting prosecution practices and procedures, which is crucial for maintaining consistency and compliance within the team.
