Who you are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and possess a strong understanding of wireless system design and characterization. Your experience includes addressing emission regulatory requirements in consumer products, and you are adept at translating various emission requirements into system requirements for new chipsets and platforms. You have a collaborative spirit, working closely with multi-functional teams to drive design changes and address regulatory emission issues.
You are skilled in using simulation tools and conducting schematic reviews to pre-fetch potential emission concerns. Your technical expertise allows you to architect and coordinate the execution of software features necessary for regulatory compliance. You thrive in environments where you can assist fellow engineers in debugging various regulatory emission issues, showcasing your problem-solving abilities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that new Apple products meet wireless regulatory compliance standards. You will apply your knowledge of wireless system design to address emission regulatory requirements, translating these into actionable system requirements for new chipsets and platforms. You will collaborate with engineering teams to define emission test plans for custom features, which includes defining requirements for custom testing solutions and working with test equipment vendors.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve debugging marginal and failure tests, interacting with multi-functional teams such as RFHW, Antenna, Product Design, and Electrical Engineering to drive design changes and address issues. You will also play a key role in shaping upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Appleβs customers every day.
