Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in custom RF and analog layout for radio transceivers, with extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technology. Your proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFET technology sets you apart as a key contributor to the RFIC team. You are knowledgeable in layout techniques and understand the intricacies of signal coupling, which allows you to create efficient designs that meet high-performance standards.

Your background includes working closely with RFIC design teams, where you have successfully laid out and verified custom RF and analog IP for complex SoC products. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to bring next-generation wireless technologies into high-volume production. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that the designs you produce are not only innovative but also reliable and manufacturable.

What you'll do

As an RFIC Layout Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in the design of state-of-the-art CMOS radios, contributing to the development of highly energy-efficient wireless technologies. You will collaborate with a world-class vertically integrated engineering team, spanning various disciplines including RF/Analog architecture and design, VLSI/RTL design, and more. Your responsibilities will include researching and designing RF and analog blocks, from RF front-end amplifiers to data converters, ensuring that they meet the rigorous standards expected in high-volume production.

You will be involved in the layout and verification of custom RF and analog IP, working closely with the RFIC design team to ensure that all designs are optimized for performance and manufacturability. Your expertise in Cadence layout tools will be essential as you navigate complex design challenges and contribute to the successful launch of new wireless technologies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers.
