Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers, demonstrating extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technology. Your proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFET technology sets you apart, allowing you to ensure high-quality designs that meet stringent specifications.
Your expertise with Cadence layout tools enables you to efficiently create and verify complex layouts, ensuring that they adhere to design rules and performance requirements. You are knowledgeable in layout techniques and signal coupling, which are critical for optimizing the performance of RFIC designs.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including RFIC design engineers, to bring innovative wireless technologies to life. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence drive you to produce layouts that not only meet but exceed expectations.
What you'll do
As an RFIC Layout Engineer at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in the Wireless SoC Radio Team, contributing to the design of state-of-the-art CMOS radios. You will be responsible for laying out and verifying custom RF and analog IP for complex SoC products, ensuring that they are ready for high-volume production.
You will collaborate with the RFIC design team to research and implement the latest technologies, transforming user experiences through advanced wireless solutions. Your work will have a significant impact on developing Apple's cutting-edge radios, which will be integrated into hundreds of millions of products.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in deep sub-micron CMOS technology to tackle complex design challenges, ensuring that your layouts are optimized for performance and manufacturability. You will also be involved in the verification process, using tools like CALIBRE to ensure compliance with design rules and specifications.
