You have over 5 years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security roles, with a strong understanding of audit and compliance processes. Your technical skillset allows you to navigate complex environments effectively, and you thrive in situations that require innovative problem-solving. You are passionate about security and have a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart.
You are familiar with various security tools and methodologies, including Burp Suite and Nmap, and have a solid understanding of the OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities. Your experience includes conducting thorough security assessments and providing actionable recommendations to improve security posture. You are a motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to continuous learning and improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead penetration testing and security assessment engagements from start to finish, leveraging your offensive security expertise to identify vulnerabilities and exploit weaknesses. You will evaluate the design and effectiveness of security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. Your insights will play a critical role in shaping the audit plan by identifying areas of emerging risk and strengthening the organizationβs control environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle. This includes collaborating with developers and IT teams to implement security best practices and conducting training sessions to raise awareness about security risks. You will also be responsible for documenting findings and presenting them to stakeholders, ensuring that security recommendations are understood and actionable.
