Who you are

You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in physical synthesis workflows and chip design. Your expertise in GenAI frameworks and large language models positions you to leverage AI in innovative ways, transforming traditional processes into intelligent solutions. You are skilled in scripting languages such as Python and TCL, which you use for EDA tool automation, and you have hands-on experience with industry-standard synthesis tools like Fusion Compiler and Genus.

Your understanding of physical synthesis concepts and CAD flows allows you to navigate complex design challenges effectively. You are familiar with AI/ML libraries, particularly in Python, which enhances your ability to develop intelligent automation solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in chip design.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience with agentic frameworks and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) would be advantageous. Your ability to predict design challenges and recommend solutions autonomously will set you apart in this role. A strong foundation in AI agent development will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will pioneer the next generation of AI-powered design automation tools that accelerate processor and SoC development. You will apply your expertise to develop intelligent automation solutions that transform RTL-to-GDS implementation flows.
